Cherry Clafoutis Sweet Fruit Dessert

Ingredients

½ Cup All Purpose Flour

2 Lightly Beaten Eggs

1 Tablespoon Caster Sugar

Salt, Just a Pinch

1 ¼ Cup Milk

Butter for Greasing

2 Cups of Fresh Cherries

1 ½ Tablespoons Brandy

½ Tablespoon of Sugar to Decorate

Directions

  1. Whisk the flour into a large bowl.
  2. Use back of your hand to make a flour bowl in the center of the flour.
  3. Add the eggs, sugar and salt to the center of your flour bowl.
  4. Mix them well and whisk again.
  5. Pour in the milk while whisking the batter thoroughly, until very smooth.
  6. Pour half of the batter in your pre-buttered dish.
  7. Add the cherries and pour the remaining batter over the top.
  8. Sprinkle the brandy over the batter.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven – 350F for 40 minutes.
  10. Remove from the oven and sprinkle over the sugar just before serving.
  11. Serve warm.
